Today (17th January) the longlist for the EBRD Literature Prize was revealed.

Two Oneworld titles were chosen: Lala by Jacek Dehnel (translated by Antonia Lloyd-Jones), and The Aviator by Eugene Vodolazkin (translated by Lisa C Hayden). 

The EBRD Literature Prize was launched by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development last year to promote translated literary fiction and boasts a €20,000 prize for the winner, who will be announced on the 7th March.

Drive your Plow by Olga Tokarczuk, translated by Antonia Lloyd-Jones 

The Book of Whispers by Varujan Vosganian, translated by Alastair Ian Blyth 

Shatila Stories by 9 authors, translated by Nashwa Gowanlock
