Little Eyes Longlisted for the International Booker Prize 2020

Little Eyes by Samanta Schweblin and translated by Megan McDowell has been longlisted for the International Booker Prize 2020. The prize celebrates the finest translated fiction from around the world, recognising both author and translatior.

This year the judges considered 124 books before selecting the 13 longlisted titles. The shortlist will be announced on 2nd April.

Little Eyes is a visionary novel about our interconnected world, and the collision of horror and humanity. Samanta Schweblin has already been shortlisted for the International Booker Prize in 2017 with Fever Dream. Her short-story collection, Mouthful of Birds, was longlisted in 2019. Both were translated by Megan McDowell.
