Heart makes the longlist for the Wellcome Book Prize

Heart: A History by cardiologist Sandeep Jauhar has been longlisted for the prestigious Wellcome Book Prize.

The prize recognises fiction and nonfiction books that ‘illuminate the many ways that health, medicine and illness touch our lives.’ The shortlist for the £30,000 prize will be announced on Tuesday 19 March, with the winner revealed at an evening ceremony on Wednesday 1 May at Wellcome Collection.
