Lala and The Aviator longlisted for the EBRD Literature Prize 2019

Today (17th January) the longlist for the EBRD Literature Prize was revealed.
Two Oneworld titles were chosen: Lala by Jacek Dehnel (translated by Antonia Lloyd-Jones), and The Aviator by Eugene Vodolazkin (translated by Lisa C Hayden).
The EBRD Literature Prize was launched by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development last year to promote translated literary fiction and boasts a €20,000 prize for the winner, who will be announced on the 7th March.
