Syd Moore – Halloween at Gower Street

Waterstones Gower Street presents a deliciously dark evening of gothic storytelling, wine and conversation with two authors from the historic heartland of the Essex Witchhunts, Syd Moore andCathi Unsworth. Join us this Halloween as we explore pitch-black themes of intrigue, mystery, murder and witchcraft.

Syd Moore is the author of the Essex Witch Museum novels, Stange Magic and Strange Sight, as well as two other novel about witches Witch Hunt and The Drowning Pool. Cathi Unsworth is the author ofWeirdo, The Not Knowing, The Singer, Bad Penny Blues, and most recently Without the Moon, set during the long, dark days of the Blitz and based on real-life murders. Her forthcoming novel That Old Black Magic (Serpents Tail, 2018) is the story of a sinister murder bearing the hallmarks of ancient murder.
