How do I order books?
Browse for books using the Books menu or by searching in the search bar. When you’ve found a book you would like to buy, click the Add to Cart button. If there’s no Add to Cart button, or if it says Not Yet Available instead, the book isn’t available for purchase – it may be out of stock, or it hasn’t been published yet. You can keep checking back, or sign up for our email newsletters to receive notifications of when new books are available to buy. Alternatively, use the Contact Us page to get in touch and find out where it is.
I want to cancel my order
Sorry to hear that. If you have made an order through the site and would like to cancel it, please email email@example.com within 7 days after placing your order. If the order has not been dispatched, we will cancel your order and refund your payment. If the order has already been dispatched, you will need to arrange to return the contents of your order.
If you are unhappy with a product that you have purchased through this website for any reason, you may return it to us within 14 days of delivery. If the reason for the return is the result of our error, or if the item was damaged before it reached you, we will also refund the postage costs.
To make a return please send back the item securely wrapped, along with your packing slip and a letter giving the reason for the return. Please send the package to the following address:

Since they are digital products delivered immediately upon completion of your purchase, you cannot return or cancel ebook orders. If you have downloaded an ebook however, and are unhappy with the quality of the file, or there are significant errors, please do get in touch with us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
My order hasn’t arrived
You can check the status of your order in the My Account section of the website, under the Orders tab. If your order is Pending, it is still being processed. Completed means that your order has been processed and passed to our distributor for dispatch. If your order has not arrived within 14 days for UK orders and 28 days for overseas orders, from the date of your order, please email email@example.com, quoting your order number. We will investigate and update you on the status of your order.
I can’t find the book I’m looking for
If you’re sure that Oneworld published the book, but you can’t find it on the site, then it might not be available yet, or it’s out of print. You can keep checking back, or sign up for our email newsletters to receive notifications of when new books are available to buy. Alternatively, use the Contact Us page to get in touch and find out where it is.
How do I read your ebooks?
All ebooks sold through the Oneworld website are Epub files. That means that you can read them on any device or software capable of reading Epub files, including the following.
- Sony Reader
- iPad using iBooks or Bluefire Reader app
- Android devices using the Aldik Book Reader app
- Adobe Digital Editions on a PC or Mac
They are all DRM-free – there is no encryption or file protection to prevent copying from one device to another, so you can easily transfer files from your computer to a phone, ereader or tablet.
If you would like to read Oneworld ebooks on your Amazon Kindle, then you must purchase these directly from Amazon. All Oneworld ebooks are available on Amazon Kindle – links to these are available on the book detail pages.

How do I order a catalogue?
Printable PDFs of all our past catalogues are available from the Catalogues page. If you would like to order a printed copy, or if you would like to be added to mailing list, please get in touch via the Contact Us page.
How do I order a desk copy or an exam copy?
Examination copies for most Oneworld titles are available to bona fide teaching staff who wish to use the title as compulsory reading for a course. The cost is 50% of the retail price, with free carriage, and all exam copies must be paid for in advance. Please note this service is provided at publisher’s discretion and their decision is final. We are happy to offer single free desk copies to academic teaching staff who have adopted a Oneworld book as Recommended or Essential reading and place an order for at least 20 copies of the title in question.
To order, please email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org with the information below. Once we have received your request, we will provide instructions for payment (examination copies only) and confirm delivery of the books.

- The name of the course you are teaching
- The number of students attending the course
- The name of the bookshop where the book will be bought by students

How can I contact an author?
We cannot give out personal mail or email addresses for our authors. However, we can pass on information and requests to our authors. Please request details through the Contact Us page.
